What grade is Hastelloy casting

Common grades of Hastelloy castings include the B series, C series, and G series.

Specific grades and characteristics are as follows:

B Series:
Hastelloy B-2 (N10665): Nickel-molybdenum alloy, resistant to reducing environments (such as hydrochloric acid), suitable for acetic acid production and sulfuric acid recovery systems.
Hastelloy B-3: An upgraded version of B-2, with excellent corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid of any temperature and concentration, but should be avoided in environments with ferric and copper salts.

C Series:

Hastelloy C-4: Nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, with good thermal stability (650-1040℃), suitable for high-temperature corrosion-resistant applications.
Hastelloy C-276 (N10276): Resistant to oxidizing and moderately reducing corrosion, excellent resistance to stress corrosion, suitable for highly corrosive environments such as petroleum and chemical industries.
Hastelloy C-22 (N06022):Resistant to oxidizing media and localized corrosion, suitable for highly corrosion-resistant oxidizing environments.

G Series

Hastelloy G-30 (N06985): A high-chromium nickel-based alloy, resistant to mixed acids such as phosphoric acid and strong oxidizing agents.

Hastelloy G-35: An upgraded version of G-30, offering superior corrosion resistance and thermal stability.

Others

Hastelloy X: Resistant to oxidation up to 1200℃, used in gas turbine combustion chambers.

Hastelloy D-205, G-50, etc.: Grades optimized for specific corrosive environments.
